Sony Animated Pictures' The Star Debuts Trailer

"The story of the first Christmas… from an entirely new perspective."

Sony Animation, the studio that brought you Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, has released the trailer for The Star, a new take on the birth story of Jesus. Following the adventures (and misadventures) of the animals present for the delivery of Mary and Joseph's baby, the trailer reveals how colorful and funny this update on the Nativity will be.

Premiering in theaters nationwide November 17, the animated film features the vocal talent of Steven Yeun (Bo the donkey), Gina Rodriguez (Mary), Zachary Levi (Joseph), Keegan-Michael Key (Dave the dove), Kelly Clarkson (Leah the horse), Anthony Anderson (Zach the goat), Aidy Bryant (Ruth the sheep), Ving Rhames (Thaddeus the dog), Gabriel Iglesias (Rufus the dog), Patricia Heaton (Edith the cow), Kristin Chenoweth (Abby the mouse), Delilah Rene (Elizabeth), Christopher Plummer (King Herod), Kris Kristofferson (Old Donkey), and Tracy Morgan (Felix), Tyler Perry (Cyrus), Oprah Winfrey (Deborah) as the three camels.
