Very dark and disturbing, not uplifting like I would think a lesson in grace should be. Story line left much to be desired and maybe tried too hard. Story attempted to wrap up in neat little package at the end, but again, I think this one missed the mark totally.

I was not impressed at all by this movie and I was frustrated throughout by the portrayal of a man of God as an alcoholic in denial, a manipulator of law officials, a liar, a man in serious denial of the impact his attitude and actions had on his family. Most of this movie seemed contrived, as if the viewer is to believe it is okay to act this way and then life just goes on. Many of the scenes were incomplete and left the viewer hanging there mentally wondering \"What just happened here?\". The bonus feature was unavailable unless that was the previews of other movies. I love Michael Joiner but seeing him half naked was not an enjoyable scene and I thought it inappropriate. However! I am aware this may be someones reality. Being a believer does not make one perfect but seeing such an obviously spiritually immature character make so many selfish, ungodly decisions made me sad as in our society Christians are already given a bad reputation. Why put out a movie making them look even worse? I fear this is a new movement in our Christian media that will build momentum in time. I am seeing this in other DVDs too! Would not watch again and will not recommend it.
