Yes, the audience in the live performance laughs, but one wonders why. There are seemingly funny riffs, but no overarching connection with the real world; which is the point of comedy: It must make a connection to the real world (the one we live in). If you want funny, listen to Mike Williams describe the blind menu at a McDonald’s drive-thru. If you want funny, listen to Nazareth tell you the name of his child, Newport Beach. If you want funny, listen to Jeff Allen describe the safety of a bicycle helmet, while riding over a drain culvert. Enjoy (though we did not, sorry)!
