Is it all really worth it?

13 year-old Logan has a seemingly impossible idea to make a movie. After facing rejection from his peers at school and his careless parents at home, he turns to the one he knows he can always count on...his older brother Tyler. The two are nearly inseparable, but when Logan's last hope lets him down, he wonders if it's all really worth it.

At the turn of a tragic mishap, the brothers' relationship is altered forever as Tyler is challenged to decide whether he'll do whatever it takes to see his brother's project succeed, even if it means risking it all.

Directed by 22 year-old Kyle Lawrence.

3 of 5 Stars! Logan - DVDBernard R, 06/27/2017
The movie has a very important message for both parents and children. The unspoken pressure to be popular and liked in a secular world where children aren\'t valued and treated with the respect, attention and support that they need. 13 can be a very tender age where being called names, not having friends, bullying and internet gossip can be so traumatic that it can lead some children to thoughts of suicide or actual suicide. It raises awareness of the suicide rate of junior high age kids climbing at an alarming rate.

The message is clear. Parents pay attention to your kids. Put Jesus in your family so that your children can know how loved and precious they really are. Kids can be suicidal without showing hardly any signs and everyone should learn to respect the dignity of every person that is created in the image and likeness of God.

The reason I didn\'t particularly enjoy this movie is I wanted something light, clean and somewhat funny which I thought this was until almost the end where Logan tries to commit suicide from out of nowhere. Too much shock factor for me, but it doesn\'t diminish the importance of the message.

Movie was about a boy who needed attention, but there was not really any message about salvation or Christ, and there was a lot of name calling between the kids.
