Midnight Clear (short film)
This Season, Hope is Found in Unexpected Places.
On Christmas Eve in the Arizona desert, a middle-aged man (Stephen Baldwin) and an old woman (K Callan) contemplate suicide. But through chance run-ins with strangers and perhaps some divine intervention, they cross paths and change each other's life forever.
Based on a story from best-selling author Jerry B. Jenkins, this Christmas Special is a parable for today about how random acts of kindness can, unbeknownst to us all, have a life-altering impact on others.
From Jerry B. Jenkins, author of the best-selling LEFT BEHIND series .
What People Are Saying:
"Disturbing and hopeful, compelling and promising. The opening is a riveting moment of fear that resolves into a story of reconciliation. It is a natural to provoke discussion about the stark realities of life without the Lord."
"I would use this as a discussion starter with my youth Sunday School class...great production values...this is a winner!"
“Jerry Jenkins has done it again... This will be a high impact evangelistic tool for churches that have the courage/faith to use it.”
“A provocative reminder of the hope of Christ in a hopeless world. It will make you do Christmas differently this year.”

Midnight Clear, starring Stephen Baldwin, K Callan and Kirk B.R. Woller was produced in two versions (each in different years): This short version and a feature length version. We have seen each version on two different occasions, with this short version being the far superior one. I suggest you do no internet research on this film, before viewing, as any spoilers would "spoil" the film for you. Enjoy!

Did not know this was the short version. Very disappointing
Midnight Clear (short film) - DVD – Freddie R, 04/16/2010
The short version is not nearly half as good as the full version. If I would have viewed the short version before viewing an hour version that I saw on TBN I would thought it was irractic. Buy the full version. I downloaded to my IPod and have watched it numerious times on the tread mill at Bally's using it to ignore Lady GaGa and Britney on the big overhead t.v above all the tread mills.

Midnight Clear (short film) - DVD – Donna B, 12/22/2009
This movie is not for families, and is rated PG13. Themes are lonliness, suicide, and dispair. Not a heartwarming, touchy-feely Christmas movie, and I would not recommend it. Throughout the movie, I kept wondering what bad thing the main character was going to do or contemplate next.
Midnight Clear (short film) - DVD – Joyce L, 10/28/2009
15 minutes long. Started out good and then it ended!
Midnight Clear (short film) - DVD – Josh B, 12/22/2008
Wasn't aware that this was the short version of the movie. This one only runs about 18 minutes. They got the ideas across, but it did seem to be missing a lot of background story that was necessary. I'd recommend the longer version. I still gave this 5 stars because it's still very good.
Midnight Clear (short film) - DVD – Kathy C, 07/21/2008
Short, interesting movie. Story unfolds slowly not giving you many clues. Didn't feel it was done real professionally, but was a very interesting Christian movie with a good message.

Midnight Clear (short film) - DVD – Dwayne T, 12/09/2007
I thought the acting was great and the production very well done - I did not realize it was a short version.
