About "Alive and Free":
Valerie Wilson is a missing person. She took her son Josh to the pediatrician but left her purse in the car. She went back out to get her purse and was never seen again (Car still in the parking lot/Purse still in the car). The day she disappeared, life at the Wilson house stopped. Imprisoned by the utter lack of closure, Joe Wilson and his sons Josh and Matt have spent the ensuing years adrift in the numbness that followed the devastation her absence brought. Instead of picking up the pieces and moving on, they have slowly become isolated from the world and each other. When Matt discovers a video online that appears to have their mother in the background, he reveals to Josh he believes their mother is a spy. Matt shows Josh the research he’s compiled over the years, secret codes, duplicate passports, their mother’s military dossier and a clandestine meeting Josh witnessed between their mother and a mysterious stranger. Matt convinces Josh to hit the road with him to find her. Accompanied by the girl across-the-street and her grandfather, and pursued by the cops and their father, Matt and Josh push further than either of them thought possible in search for the answers that broke their family.
