Erin Dalian, an independent filmmaker, recently wrapped up principal photography for her independent film BROKEN & BEAUTIFUL. The story is set in Chicago and during the 21 day shoot, scenes were shot around the Chicago area.

Unlike any film before it, BROKEN & BEAUTIFUL uses the music of contemporary Christian artists to weave together stories of the members of the fictional All Saints Church. The characters' dark secrets are exposed, and it is only when they are brought to their knees that they find healing. With themes of judgment and hypocrisy, forgiveness and unconditional love, BROKEN & BEAUTIFUL deals head-on with some of the everyday struggles facing everyday believers.

"As the writer, director and producer of the film," says Dalian, "I am, of course, very proud of the project. It has been inspiring to see how others have rallied behind of project. Not only the cast and crew, but owners of locations and even people walking on the street have asked about the film and have gotten excited at the prospect of a faith-based musical, even to the point of contributing financially!"
