Dr. Marc Newman is president of, a company dedicated to providing pastors and lay leaders with the tools necessary to use movies as a way of reaching out to others with the Gospel of Christ.

A college and university professor for over twenty years, Dr. Newman speaks at churches and professional organizations all over the United States on the persuasive power of film. Dr. Newman holds a B.A. from Biola University, an M.A. from Louisiana State University, and a Ph.D. from Regent University -- all in Communication with an emphasis in the rhetoric of film. His doctoral dissertation on transcendence and redemption in film won Dissertation of the Year from the Religious Communication Association.
