This movie is EXCELLENT! I have a teenage daughter, an 8 year old son and identical twin 10 month old babies who absolutely LOVED watching this over and over and over again.. and that was just the first day! What a powerful representation of the love of Jesus and his death and resurrection! Wow! What a creative and adorable way of teaching this life changing event to children and people of ALL ages!

I HIGHLY recommend this video!! You and your family will love the music, the animation and the message of friendship, betrayal, forgiveness and unconditional love.

I encourage you rent or buy this video, invite your friends, family, neighbors and even children's church to view it with you, you will not be sorry you did!

Who would have thought some animated sea creatures could deliver the message of salvation and the coming of the King!

Great movie. The message is timeless. My husband and I watched it with our four children ages 4 to 10 and we all enjoyed it very much.

my girls are almost 2 and 4 yo and it gets a little scarry for them with the parts of the octopus. Probably an okay film for older kids. I liked the story and theme too!

My kids realy enjoed this movie, (ages 4-9) it had a godd story with plenty of excitement, we talked about how this story line related to Jesus. It really helped them understand the concept of sacrificing for another.

I rented this to watch with my 2 year old grandson. I started watching it and I got scared...so I fast forwarded to all the good scenes. I probably should have check for the age appropriateness of the movie before renting it. After returning the DVD, I found 2 different websites with different guidelines: for ages 7 and above, and ages 4-8.

Nevertheless, it was not appropriate for my grandson which is what I thought when it began playing. I know now to always check first before renting.

I hope this helps anyone before the rent or buy the movie.

I rented this thinking that all 3 of my children (ages 4, 8, and 10) could enjoy. It was very intense and had some scary parts causing me to leave the room with my 4 year old. My older 2 enjoyed it but I would definitely be cautious with younger children and sensitive kids in general.
