This man is vulgar. Saying such things as 'the man needing to "get l**d" as to when the Lord created woman for the man. No reverence for the LORD.:(

Mark has a way of putting things into context that really make sense. He starts out with shocking statistics on families and children as they grow up and their later christian walk. The second person he has talk is a hands down great testimony turning her life around and doing good for God. The third person talking is a star and talks about the pressures girls are under and tells of her testimony. The two women speakers spoke so well to a woman's value that I let my 16 and 13 yr old daughters listen to it. They loved it and it was appropriate. I wish I had had something like this. Thank you Mark!

This is disc 2 I'm reviewing. Somehow my disc 1 review is on disc 2's. Anyway, this was another great dvd that I'd rent again...although the disc 1 was better in my opinion. I viewed it with my two teen girls (16 and 13). We all loved it. There were 3 female speakers. The first speaker wasn't all that well spoken but her message was fantastic. She spoke on david's spiritual life and related it to no matter what we've done or have had done to us as women, that with repentance, confession to God along with the blood of Jesus Christ brings about a power and authority in we women can use to become stronger.

The second speaker was a single lady that talked about how our attitudes/actions = 90% of our success. We aren't defined by our circumstances. She goes into why obedience works. She speaks of the issues that are close to young women's hearts being desparate in singleness. She talks about how to be happy and productive as a single person. She lays out the purpose in dating very well. She talks about a lot of lies that women buy into and how to counteract them such as living together, that we must put out if the guy pressures us after dinner, etc. We'd all like to believe our teens are smarter than this but the fact is, satan does know our weaknesses and plays on them. She goes into true intimacy dating guidelines, what women bring to the table for God. It was obvious she was nervous because she read from her script but it was a solid message young ladies need to hear.

The third speaker was good as well. She talked about the issues she had gone through in life...all the sin...how she viewed it at the time...how she views it now through a biblical lens. SHe talks about confession, humbleness, and having transparency with God. I disagree with her on one point but I understood what she wanted to convey, she mentioned that one isn't saved unless they repented but God is clear in john 3:16 and with the thief on the cross that it is the belief in Him that will save you. Please don't let that stop you from listening to her message. It was shocking how close her life was to mine and I finally saw the light and turned to God and away from my sin. Wish I had heard this woman a LONG time ago. I just talked with my girls about the salvation message. We all got a lot out of this dvd. Thank you again Mark!!!!

This is a review for disc 3 of this series.

This DVD had two speakers: Nancy Stafford (also in first dvd) and Mark Gungor.

Nancy talks about how to get past the hurts and sin in our lives. She talks about how to change the way we think. She delves into the science of what thoughts really do to the brain. Fascinating. She also talks about attitude and how the bible defines you.

Mark shares experience from his pastoring counseling days in a hilarious and very true manner. He talks about the differences between men and women's communication. He does a most excellent job talking about abusive husbands and what wives should do about it. The biblical verses he uses clearly empowers the wives to not submit to that type of behaviour in their husbands. He also speaks to single women.

I let my two older girls view this series...ages 13 and 16. They liked it as well and I sure wish I had known this stuff at their age. I was raised christian and in a great household and I made mistakes with men that this dvd series addresses. Thank you, Mark!!!!
