Bananas Comedy – Kenn Kington, is very frustrating to watch, in that there is no real connection between Kenn and the audience. Yes, the audience in the live performance laughs, but one wonders why. There are seemingly funny riffs, but no overarching connection with the real world; which is the point of comedy: It must make a connection to the real world (the one we live in). If you want funny, listen to Mike Williams describe the blind menu at a McDonald’s drive-thru. If you want funny, listen to Nazareth tell you the name of his child, Newport Beach. If you want funny, listen to Jeff Allen describe the safety of a bicycle helmet, while riding over a drain culvert. Enjoy (though we did not, sorry)!
