Good quality video footage and narration. Good selection of Christ-centered songs (e.g. O Come, O Come Emmanuel), with just a few "lighter" songs (e.g. Jingle Bells). Even the lighter songs are helpful in explaining the origin of some various Christmas traditions, such as decorating an evergreen tree.
Older kids and adults will enjoy this DVD.
The only disappointing and surprising part is that the DVD does not include actual musical performances of the carols. There are some instrumental performances in the Extras. But I was expecting to hear the actual song discussed each day. Still, you can printout the lyrics (see below) and sing them with your family. However, I can use all the help I can get when it comes to singing, and would have liked to hear the songs performed by a choir.
A full list of songs, lyrics, and the scripts from each day's narration can be found at the distributor’s web site (Vision Video) here:

All said, it is a great way to get your family celebrating and anticipating "the Coming" (i.e. Advent).
