Sometimes she's too big. Or much too small. Sometimes things are backwards. And there's always too much pepper in the soup! Nothing is quite right since Alice chased a very unusual White Rabbit and stumbled into an adventure that grows curiouser and curiouser. One of the greatest childhood fantasies ever is captured in Irwin Allen's colorful, all-star production adapted from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Steve Allen wrote the jolly, witty songs and more than a dozen Hollywood stars join in the wondrous fun. Alice is looking for a way home. And happy to be welcomed into yours.

This is such a fun movie. There is a lot of music and dance. Some of the scenes are a little scary, but parents know their children best. I believe it is must own.

I am well aware the Dove Society rates this as 12+, however I am certain that rating is due to the "Jabberwocky" scenes later in the film.
I saw this movie when I was released on tv as a miniseries, I was either four or five years old and it was brand new. I have LOVED it my entire life. The Jabberwocky is scary, a bit, but I have watched it with my three kids and even my 6 year old knows it is not real and did not get nightmares or thoroughly scared by it.
The cast is simply amazing and reads like a "who's who" of Hollywood at the time...Carol Channing, John Stamos, Pat Morita, Red Buttons, Sammy Davis Jr as the Caterpillar, simply fabulous! Those are the ones I remember right off the top of my head but there are oh, so many more! Definitely well worth a family movie night!
