Bringing Christian Love Out of The Closet
2005 75 minutes
Recorded on stage in San Luis Obispo, California, hear Chad explain and expand upon the ideas he first wrote about in his book Loving Homosexuals as Jesus Would. Thompson calls on the church to "become flesh" to the gay and lesbian community through "practical acts of kindness" and "unconditional love." Thompson points out, "Gays and lesbians are used to hearing Christians say we love them, but talking isn't enough. True love produces real humanitarianism."
In this 75 minute talk, Thompson also teaches how to reach out to those in the church who are struggling with unwanted same-gender attractions.
Chad Thompson is the founder of Inqueery and author of the book Loving Homosexuals as Jesus Would. Chad has traveled extensively speaking at churches, retreats and college campuses on the subject of homosexuality.
Chad has appeared in The Washington Times, Time Magazine, World Magazine, Charisma Magazine, Christianity Today, and Townhall.com. Outreach Magazine named Chad's book the best target ministry resource of 2004. Chad was recently featured in the Relevant Media publication Relevant Nation as one of fifty "Activities, Artists and Innovators Who Are Changing Their World Through Faith."

This was a good informational/testimonial from a guy who "came out' of the homosexual lifestyle. I felt like it was a great synopsis of many points like if homosexuals are really born that way, why are they the way they are, and how Christians can be free to love the homosexual sinner and still not accept their choice of the homosexual lifestyle.
