ChristianCinema.com, Inc. has been a member of the Christian Booksellers Association (CBA) since 2001. Our goal is to encourage bookstores and ministries to offer Christian movies on DVD. We have over 1400 titles in our database with that number growing every month. So, to help stores stock their own movie sections, they can apply for a retail account with Christian Cinema Distribution. We can be their "one stop shop" for Christian videos! The One-stop-shop for Christian Retailer's DVD Needs
Christian DVD sales increased 82% year over year in 2005, yet it is still a woefully underserved segment in Christian retail. DVD distribution is splintered and confusingly scattered. There are more than 30 major distributors alone, not to mention the countless independent Christian filmmakers who are self distributing their own DVD titles.
How does the Christian retailer stay on top of this in a profitable and scalable way? Already squeezed for margins, they are often just trying to keep up with their growing inventories of Christian book, music and gift items. Their existing vendors may carry a handful of DVD titles, but those vendors are often more interested in pushing those titles on them because that is all they have. They are unable to provide retailers with the best product mix of DVDs based on industry sales, new releases, and customer satisfaction.
This also prevents Christian retailers from providing a good selection across several genres of DVDs (ie. Childrens, Youth, Family Friendly, Comedy, Biblical Drama, End Times, Evangelistic etc.), hurting consumers and independent filmmakers.
Christian Cinema Distribution started as a retailer and quickly realized the difficulties other retailers were experiencing in trying to connect, establish accounts and manage a growing inventory with all of these DVD distributors.
Over the last 6 years Christian Cinema Distribution has established solid relationships with every major DVD distributor in the Christian market as well as hundreds of independent filmmakers so that we can be a one-stop shop for Christian retailer's DVD needs.

Christian Entertainment Review (Video Buyers Guide)
Christian Entertainment Review is a free service to Christian retailers that sell DVDs. Christian entertainment is the next growth category. Think of where Christian publishing was 10 years and how it has grown, and where Christian Music was 5 years ago and where it is today. Christian DVD movie entertainment is ready to experience tremendous growth over the next 5 years.
Some of the DVD movies will continue to come from traditional Christian producers, but after Left Behind and the Passion of the Christ, and now Chronicles of Narnia all the major Hollywood studios are looking to produce Christian movies or at the least strengthen the family values and messages in many of the movies they produce. * The research also shows that 76% said they would not buy directly from a Hollywood studio if solicited by one. WHY? The Christian Retailers will not place on their shelves DVD product that may be offensive to the Christian faith. The Christian community in general has a negative stigma toward Hollywood.
