Oh, if we could only go back to glean the fresh innocence of years gone by. Watching a young orphan girl grow up through struggles and triumphs. Anne of Green Gables is a model of perseverance and fortitude. This is refreshing classic that allows you to rejoice in clean, wholesome entertainment

I loved this movie. It's definitely a "chick flick" - my husband slept through most of it! It reminds me of "Gone With the Wind" - which is my all time favorite movie. I'll see all the sequels and then judge them all. I recommend it to teen girls and their moms, aunts, grandmas, cousins and friends. Good movie!

I absolutely love Anne of Green Gables! From the cover, the movie looks really boring and slow but boy was I wrong! I even got my husband hooked on this movie!
