Bananas Comedy: Mike Williams is a terrifically funny presentation by “the fat guy,” as he sometimes refers to himself. His stand-up routine begins with a display of signs, which we see in our daily lives, which make no sense: Why is there a Braille menu at a drive-through McDonald’s Restaurant or Why would the fine for hitting a pedestrian in a crosswalk only be $78.00? He sings roughly half-way through his presentation, which leaves much to be desired, though. If you want a great weekend of Christian comedy, be sure to rent Bananas Comedy: Taylor Mason (which features (obviously) the amazing ventriloquist, superb keyboard player, singer, and entertaining stand-up comedian, Taylor Mason). We were wonderfully surprised at the variety presented by the numerous sketches that Taylor performed, while being featured at the Bananas Comedy Club. Taylor’s puppets, and we admit to a bias against puppets, are probably the weakest portion of his presentation, while his singing is one of the strongest portions of his show. These two comedians, which both having a singing presentation during their routines, demonstrate how one (Mike Williams) should abstain from singing, while the other (Taylor) should include more singing. Enjoy!

Mike Williams is a very funny comedian whom I had the privilege to meet and speak with once in 2003 at the Alive Festival in Ohio. This is a very good rental and I would consider purchasing it as well to show friends.
