What an awful movie for Christian Cinema to have as a rental! Young boys cussing(attaching "HOLY" to a cuss word) and looking at an almost naked girl picture is sending the wrong signal to our impressionable youth! Shame, Shame Christian Cinema! We turned this movie OFF! It deserves to be TRASHED! We are to be careful what we put before our eyes-is it a slow fade? Too bad ZERO is not a choice for a star rating!

One word to describe this movie, TRASH!!!!! We couldn't believe what we were watching and that we just rented it from Christian Cinema. PG, we don't think so, more like PG-13 or R. 12 yr. olds swearing and a 12 yr. old carrying a picture of a half naked women and showing it to another 12 yr. old, your kidding me right! We were totally shocked and had to turn off the movie. When we watched the preview it was clean. Please, can you start screening your movies before putting them out on your website! Thank's and God Bless You Guy's!

Wide Awake (starring Dan Lauria (playing Father Peters), Joseph Cross (playing Joshua Beal), Timothy Reifsnyder (playing Dave O’Hara), Rosie O’Donnell (playing Sister Terry), Dana Delany (playing Mrs. Beal, Joshua’s mother), Denis Leary (playing Mr. Beal, Joshua’s father), Robert Loggia (playing Grandpa Beal, Joshua’s grandfather)), and a host of other highly accomplished actors and actresses, is an in-depth look at one person’s (Joshua’s) search for God, along with growing up and coming to understand that the world is not a simple place, with things not always being what they seem. The ending has a great twist, which works exceptionally well and will leave you cheering in your seat. Joshua and Dave easily carried the film, in a first-rate manner, in spite of the fact that both are quite young. The adult actors, all of which were supporting roles, were equally outstanding. Please note that Sister Terry, one of the teachers in the film, has some interesting takes on Jesus, but since they are geared toward Grade 5 boys, they are done in an age-appropriate manner. Enjoy!
