A good family movie that dealt with a lot of issues, grief, anger, disappointment - my ten year old son and I enjoyed it. Definitely worth renting.

Decision, quite simply, is a mess of a film. Wooden acting, coupled with an unbelievable script, poor camera work, and lax direction only begin to highlight some of the problems with this potentially wonderful film. Things don’t get moving, until the son (Jackson, played by Mike Rosenbaum) goes for a visit to his estranged grandfather (Steve, played by Billy Dean), at the insistence of Steve’s daughter (Ilene, played by Natalie Grant). How this all resolves forms the only real interesting portion of the film. In all honesty, we used the fast-forward control, since things were moving so incredibly slowly. This film has been given three stars (***), based only upon the film from the time Jackson arrives at his grandfather’s ranch. Enjoy!

This movie had a good theme, but the acting was not very good and the movie tended to drag. Hard to maintain an interest level.

The story line had the potential to be a good movie. The acting and the 2nd half of the movie not being tied together to flow with the first half were a complete disappointment.

Its a good movie for the most part its starts slow but after watching all this film it was worth it.
