Good message and appropriate for childen. I just wish that there had a been a Christian message. There was forgiveness, but it would have been nice if they had used verses or the Bible or even talked about Jesus.

Highschool days leave young people so vulnerable to peer pressure if they are not strong in the Lord. They find themselves in situations that they would never subject themselves to because of it. This movie did an excellent job of bringing this out, and choosing the right path eventually.

Miles from Nowhere also distributed as Chasing a Dream, focuses on two high school athletes; one a stunningly talented track star and the other a football star. Unfortunately, John van Horn (the track star, played by Jake McLaughlin) is tragically killed, coming home from a party he had no desire attending; he attended the party as a favor to Cam Stiles (our football star, portrayed by Andrew Lawrence). Treat Williams plays both the football coach and Cam's father, but does tend to be overbearing. After John passes, Cam is give his training book and decides to switch from football to track. How this resolves forms the basis of Act 2; with its ultimate resolution, running a possible sub-4-minute mile, occurring in Act 3. Enjoy!

This is one of those movies that touches the heart, inspires and reminds you that life is fragile. This is a must see for all. Many lessons learned in this one.

Very Well Done Movie. It has a lot of conflict equally mixed with a lot of resolution bolstered by determination. 4 Hankie Movie. LWL
