It was just okay for my wife and I. Quality of the film was good but the storyline was your typical chick flick. Slow going and there were some parts that could have been left out, like showing too much skin/chest in a couple of parts and the poker table seen with beer

I absolutely loved this movie. The soldier is such a gentleman, an example of a godly man. My husband is retired Navy, so I appreciated the deployment issues they were facing. Awesome!

Soldier Love Story is also marketed under the Hallmark label as Meet My Mom. This film, as are most Hallmark films (and this is not a criticism of Hallmark films) follows a clearly defined formula: Act 1, address conflict; Act 2, develop relationship (and almost all Hallmark films are about male/female relationships); Act 3 both introduces and resolves the conflict (so everyone lives happily ever after). These are the types of films we usually enjoy, so if you also enjoy hankie films, you'll love this one. Enjoy!

It was an excellent movie, very touching. It makes me think about the sacrifice the family of the military man or woman goes through. How we as civilians live our lives carefree and sometimes we don't think about praying for them. I thank God for what they do for us. They give their lives for us and makes us live a free life. Thanks to all military personnel. God continue to bless and keep them and their loved ones.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was a good clean love story but...I don't want to give anything away. You'll have to watch it yourself.
