Interesting take on how Christians come in a variety of ways. The real ones should be more naturally obvious spiritually and not obnoxious. Redeemingly good.

i grow up in Colorado so iv been around mountains since i can remember and i wish that i could live like that but i guess alot of people do.but it takes somethings to be up there in the winter time.but it is a great movie.thanks so much

Very good movie, full of interesting facts about family life and the relationship between all members. Prayer and the Lord are freely discussed in everyday life. Kids are lovable and not so lovable just like in real life...but
they struggle and overcome their shortcomings. This will
always be a favorite of mine. Snow and mountains
are spectacular. Movie for all ages...I am 68.

This movie was a great surprise. It seemed like such a simple movie but had some great spiritual truths nicely woven into the movie. A great movie that I highly recommend.

Thin ice is one of the 80's and 90's church films designed to show young Christians different situations and possible ways to deal with different situations as well as what someone being convicted by God may be going through and how they may view the Christians attempts to convert them.
These films were mainly showed in Churches to Christian audiences.
That being said the Acting is above par for a Church film. The actors really try and appear to have some training or practice. The acting is good.

My husband started watching this with me and my 11 year old daughter and he soon left. The acting was not that great. I wouldn't recommend spending your time on it. My daughter said she liked it. My husband and I both thought that watching this movie would not lead someone to the Lord.

Movies with Christian themes often seem to fall flat with filming and acting. This film has much more believable acting. It drew the teens into watching it and wouldn't be as embarrassing to invite unbelieving friends to watch with you. Handled belief and unblievers in a very realistic way.

I really enjoyed the Trilogy but my favorite is number two, The Furher Adventures of the Wilderness Family. My Granddaughter and watch them over and over again. One of the girls has even named the dolls Toby and Jenny. It is really great to watch a movie that I can sit down with my eight an four year old granddaughters and enjoy and not worry about the content. I would love to fnd more movies like these to watch.
