This movie has all the qualities that make movies great: Scenery, music, adventure, humor, suspense. It's not an evangelistic movie, but Mr. Coop does explain to the boy about the evils in the way that he has lived, and discourages him from the idea of pursuing that lifestyle. This movie has been a favorite of mine since I saw it in the theater 31 years ago!
