Title: Mission: God At Work, Faith In Action - DVD Reviewed By: Richard and linda D Date: Sunday, December 9, 2012 Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!]
Mission: God At Work, Faith In Action is hosted by Steve Saint and Dianne Becker, was a television show, which highlighted various mission groups throughout the world. While some of the missions are more interesting than others, all are fascinating in their own right. Naturally, based upon our anthropological interest in the Papua New Guinea area, we found most interesting The Yali Story (please see our separate review, under the title of the same name). Dianne Becker was the producer of The Yali Story, so has extensive experience with this tribal group. Beyond the Gates of Splendor (also see our separate review of this title) highlights the Waodani, with which Steve Saint has extensive missionary experience. Exceptionally interesting, also, was the story of the Living Water Project, with wives/women/girls walking five miles for water; but after a
community well was dug, water was available either locally or within a two mile walk (for the highlighted groups). You'll love the dental materials that Steve Saint prepared for indigenous groups! Enjoy!
