My children love the movie .. thinking of buying it.. great family movie and great why to show your children about the bible

This movie had an impact on my 10 year old son who verbally said "It was good". That was a lot coming from him! It may not be true to the original, but it opens a gateway for a younger audience.

We didn't like this movie very much. It doesn't stay true to the original story - he does not struggle to forgive his adversary who does not die but it converted to Christianity. The best part, when the Mom and sister are healed, is portrayed strangely. I think they did this because they didn't want to show the blood of Jesus to children. It has the Lord's name taken in vain, or very close to it, a couple times.

This is a great movie. I really loved it. My son was in school when it aired, so I am going to purchase it for him. I liked it b/c it showed love and friendship and how to treat other people and also to forgive.
