Read all of the books in the Left Behind series and was completely drawn in! Bought the 4 pack DVD set and although they follow the books somewhat there is so much left out. I know that to make a movie and follow the book to the T would cost a fortune, but it was nice to try to put a face to the characters in the book. Highly recommend!!

This is a great Movie to watch, talks about the End Time events that is coming...according to the Bible. The left behind is for the people who are not Born Again Christians. They didn't recieve Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. The ones that were missing in the movie were already saved, they had given their hearts to Christ. They have been raptured...Taken to Heaven to escape the judgement on earth....But for those who were left behind will stilll have a chance to recieve Christ....and will be saved. This movie will wake anyone up. I pray that people will watch this4-DVD Boxed collection and tell others about it.

Okay, you Left Us Behind! So, what we learned from the last movie, World at War, the Anti-Christ wins?
What happened to the other movies? Are there not going to be any more to finish the books?

First and Second followed the book series very well. The third movie didn't; it went off script.

This series leaves the viewer without hope or knowledge that Christ is returning. Did they run out of time, money, what?

Please tell us when Christ comes back.
Please let us know when Christ plans to return to the silver screen.

I have only watched the first two movies of this series. I read all the books and found the movies very disappointing compared to them. Silly guy to play the Anti Christ. Even Donald Trump with his funny hair would have been more menacing! And Babylon someh were in the desert in the Middle East: Read the description in Rev. 17 and see how that fits. I guess Tim la Haye would have lost quite a few readers and viewers if he had made the headquarters of the Beast in a powerful religious city on 7 hills. But - it's a great adventure flick and much of the message makes an impact.

Although the movies strayed from the books they were pretty good. I wish they would have finished the movie series. Or better yet remake them into a tv mini series and actually follow the story line and finish the books out. I think it would reach a lot more people that way, and it such a compelling story.
Note: If you don't get very far in the books (like around book 7) the gaps between the movies will lose you a little.

While the movies are good, they leave out too many details from the books. If you like the movies I recommend that you read the entire series (13 in all). They were fantastic and well worth the time spent reading!

Not happy. I read a few of the books before and i realize they remove parts from the books, but sooo much was taken out.! I was not excited. and when I got to World at War, I was LOST ! when did this girl named Amanda come in? Everything got soo confusing. My parents were even confused, and we didn't understand half of it. I know that this could have been made a lot better. The acting was good and everything but the story line seemed to have stray to far from the point(the actual writings from the book), or the occurring events seemed so vague. I wasn't all to impressed, and I really wished it could have been better. :'(

p.s. where's the fourth dvd? i only saw three cases and three titles.

I am writing this review to Evan who wanted to know if it was better than the books. Well as someone that likes to watch movies more that read. I loved all four movies. My brother was turned back to Christ on this set. I love to watch them with And would watch them over and over.

We watched the first DVD during our weekly Bible Study, learning the Book of Revelations. The first DVD was great and I just had to get the whole set. I can't wait till I receive it so I can watch the rest of the series.

I gave my DVD and Love Dare book to a couple on drugs. The husband was crying and really wanted to save his marriage. We called the Chaplain in to talk with this man and pray The Movie and bokk will help him with his committment to God and his marriage. I purchased another book and DVD and share those with anyone that want to see the movie or read and follow the book.
