To find the truth a man must sacrifice one thing...his life.
Based on the short story by renowned author Max Lucado, Resurrection is set in Israel at the time of Christ. Claudius, a Roman guard, finds himself in the midst of a cover-up regarding the tumultuous events after Christ's execution.
As his digs for the truth, he discovers that the religious leaders, the Roman government and even his closest friends are attempting to hide something from him and the world. His relentless pursuit of the answers to his growing questions threatens his reputation-even his life.
" This is my first time and I look forward to using it frequently."
- Gail Miller

Denise G asked: Will this film help a Muslim understand? I've been sharing with this person and wanted to send something that would be visual for him to understand more life like. Apr 1, 2011
Roni B: This is a difficult question, since the answer depends on what the muslim person already knows about Christianity. I would recommend "Jesus of Nazareth" to a muslim because it is probably the best film on the life of Jesus ever made, it is Scripturally accurate, it is aesthetically beautiful, and it brings all the elements of Jesus' life, His message, and His sacrifice together in a way that anyone can understand even without much prior knowledge. By contrast, the movie "Resurrection," based on a story by Max Lucado, is not as easy to understand and requires quite a lot of previous knowledge about Christianity and the Easter story. I frankly was somewhat disappointed in the movie "Resurrection." Please understand that this is a personal opinion. I have read some of Max Lucado's books but for some reason this movie wasn't as successful as it might have been. Jun 8, 2011
David M: This film is about one of the Roman guards at the cross and the tomb and his struggles in dealing with what he saw and what the Jewish priests and the Roman authorities wanted him to say about Jesus. It will help if one has an open mind and a willing heart to believe in Jesus as the Son of God. Jun 8, 2011
