I thought the movie was entertaining and suspenseful. It was nice to be able to watch a movie (that at times, kept you on the edge of your seat) without all the blood, gore and profanity you get in today's movies. David Keith did an excellent job as the father of the twins. I recommend this movie, but not for younger children.

I thought the movie was way too "dark" (evil) for kids. I felt like I needed to go pray after I watched it. The reason we got this subscription was too keep the world out of our house. I felt like I brought it back in with this movie.

This was a very well made mystery movie. However, it has a very lukewarm, watered down message of the Gospel that can deliver one from hate, having a spirit of rejection, revenge, the occult etc. Coming from a similar background in the punk scene, it wasn't movies like this that brought conviction. It was a confrontation with Jesus and the sin that separated me from him. What we need is more movies like "Late One Night" and "Lay It Down". I am a fan of Peretti, but the book was a little more on key. "Nightmare Academy" on the other hand does have more God in it. But it still fails to mention on how one can be saved. Jesus was never vague in presenting his word and how one should be saved. So, I also think those who represent should do the same.

This is a really great movie. I loved the book and the movie! WHERE IS THE SECOND ONE!? COME ON FRANK PERETTI!!! Anyway this is a movee I recommend.

Great movie for teens and for the whole family. Creepy but with a great message. Not heavy-handed at all but decent Christian entertainment with good acting and script. I wish they'd do Nightmare Academy too!!
There are so many cheesy, dumb Christian movies out there -- so nice to find one my kids really enjoyed!

We enjoyed this movie but I noticed my teenage daughter acting like the main character afterward. Flirty, cocky, not very nice. I wish we hadn't seen it. It's also creepy.

This film can be recommended for youth groups in any church. The Christian message is very subtle and presented in a clear and entertaining way. Although mature youth and adults will find the plot concepts goofy, early to mid-teens will be entertained. I appreciated the "debate" between in Christian high school student and the humanistic teacher..if onlt they would produce a film on that subject alone!
The film tries to be a cross between "X Files" and "CSI" for youth. Topics explored include bullying, suicide, predjuice and acceptance. Accompanying Bible study guide is useful.

LOVED IT! It was a great movie to see. The story line and plot were great. The acting was good as well. I really think they did a good job.
