Description:

The story of Jay Harding

Jay Harding wants to be the unselfish man his family needs---but he's not quite sure how to go about it! His marriage is troubled, his children are mischievous and distant, and Christmas is on its way. If he purchases the gift of a lifetime---a luxurious dream home---will that solve everything? Or will tragedy teach him otherwise?

Surrendered will fascinate you, if you enjoy watching paint dry or grass grow. The protagonist is utterly unlikeable, which dooms the film, from its painfully slow opening, through to its mindlessly slow ending. Enjoy!

Nancy R. M: I was a bit disappointed by this movie. It seemed to be focused on just the husband/father's behaviors, yet I didn't think the wife, children, and other family members were behaving in a Christ-like manner either for the most part. I do think it has a message and that if you are sensitive to hearing, you would be challenged to examine your own motives and your relationships. However, I do that with secular movies as well. I was also disappointed with the acting and the flow of the movie. It was choppy and forced. The scenes didn't flow and the conversations were not smooth and natural. I find this is often the case with Christian movies… which is a shame. Nov 18, 2013

Benita B: Yes, It does. It shows that the character thinks that he can do all things on his own without seeking help and guidance from the Lord. He tries to do everthing on his own. It shows friendship between a Christian friend and a non Christian person until something bad happens. And then you have to depends on your faith. Nov 18, 2013

Geralline W: Jay didn't have a relationship with the Lord and even after he accepted Him, it is going to take some time for him to grasp the faith and holiness process. At the end Jay is headed in the right direction. Yes, I would say that it does encourage faith, and I would love to see a part two. Thanks and have a Blessed Day! Nov 18, 2013
