Latest Reviews for Crossroad - DVD(View all 11 reviews)(no written review given) (no written review given) Outstanding film! One of the finest! Too much going on in this story. The plot is confusing and the content is not completely accurate according to the Bible. It is VERY intense and keeps you wondering what will happen next. We truly enjoyed this movie, very suspensful, alot of action and keeps you wonering what's going on and where it's all leading to! Shows what an Awesome Lord we have and what He can do in people's lives. I really enjoyed how the story all came together at the end. Great Movie! I have suffered through a lot of "cheesy" faith-based films, but this one is a gem. The story was very moving and I felt the actors were very convincing in their roles. I was inspired by the forgiveness and healing that only Christ can give. The story involved a collection of people who were all connected in some way, and I did not figure out until later in the movie who the main character was. I was never certain where the plot was headed, which made for a gripping story. There's some brief violence, enough to make the movie convincing, but not too much to offend viewers. This is the first movie (I believe) from Spot On Media. I look forward to seeing what they produce next! Crossroad - DVD Sort by: Already Asked: 2 Questions, 15 Answers
ChristianCinema.com Store asked: Why did you choose this? A shopper asked: I am confused, as a Christian isn't the first person we see after we die is the Lord Jesus Christ? (Spoiler alert) Why then is it that it's Michael's wife & daughter the first people he sees after he dies? Mar 13, 2013 Roger R: This movie isn't a doctrinal movie - you have to remember that the majority of Christian films are not doctrinal, not exactly according to the Bible. We are told in Hebrews 9:27, 28 - And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin until salvation. There is no actual text that says the first face we see if Jesus' after we die but this is the general belief and does makes sense whether we are judged righteous or unrighteous that Jesus would be the first One we see. The scene gives us a picture of how special that reunion will be, when everything our hearts desire, even the things we don't understand, will be realized. I think it is good to imagine what our lives will be like when we are with Christ, while keeping in mind the boundaries that Scripture sets. Mar 19, 2013 Reply to AdamP Good answer? And Christ was not the first person he saw it was loved ones. There is also another book about a 4 year old who dies and goes to heaven he is only dead for a few minutes he also saw loved ones.
