Heath has just buried his only child when he's assigned custody of Baptiste, an impoverished French immigrant who has robbed 300 graves of the recently deceased. ChristianCinema.com Store asked: Why did you choose this? Richard K: Because I believe in redemption Feb 5, 2013 Steve M asked: This is supposed to be a place to talk about this movie with others who've watched it. Do I need to ask a question here to be allowed these comments? Beware! This is a Mormon movie about a famous Mormon pioneer and produced by Covenant Communications, a wholly-owned business of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints. The film won recognition at the 12th annual LDS Film Festival. This is NOT about the struggles and victory of an evangelical Christian. It is yet another attempt by the Mormon church to present Mormonism as Christian, just another denomination among many, and in the process, make money for the church. Don't be taken in! Jan 23, 2013 Patricia B: I really liked the movie. It was insightful about how we treat people when they are different. He committed a crime and was sentence punishment, this was not enough for some. It brings to mind that we are supposed to let God do the judging and not man. God is the only one who truly knows if we have repented, because He reads the hearts of men.

I DO SINCERELY APPRECIATE YOUR WARNING. I WILL FLAG IT TO INFORM FAMILY MEMBERS OR OTHERS. WHO MIGHT WATCH IT. ONE THING I BELIEVE THE MORMONS GOT RIGHT IS THEIR CHURCH GOVERNMENT. GOD BLESS AND THANKS. ANN Feb 1, 2013 Reply to Beverly Ann Good answer? Yes (0) No (0) |
