Change the Heart Change the World 2 DVD Curriculum Set

This curriculum is designed to help students understand the origins of the Israeli/Arab Conflict from a biblical perspective. Lesson One is built on Paul’s words, “So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace” (Romans 8:6, NLT). This lesson deals with CHOICES believers make and how those choices affect their lives—and the lives of those around them. Lesson Two is built on Proverbs 10:12, “Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.” This lesson addresses CONFLICT—including jealousy and envy—and how it impacts believers’ lives and the lives of those around them. Lesson Three is based in the book of Job, “So he will do to me whatever he has planned. He controls my destiny” (Job 23:14, NLT). This lesson explores the dangers of not turning that CONTROL over to God and the blessings that come when God is in control. Lesson Four is built on Paul’s words, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32, NLT). This lesson challenges participants to look beyond differences and love one another—to have COMPASSION on one another—and focus on sharing God’s love with the world.

The faith of participants will be strengthened and encouraged as they examine the biblical principles highlighted in the DVD and accompanying curriculum. Through these lessons, participants will discover how to:

1. Make wise CHOICES

2. Deal with CONFLICT in a godly way 

3. Allow God’s Spirit to be in CONTROL

4. Have COMPASSION on those whom God loves—everyone
