Visual Bible: The Complete Set - DVD – Charles M, 08/19/2015
This is the third set I have purchased of these movies! I would not doubt that The Lord
will lead me to purchase another set soon!
Visual Bible: The Complete Set - DVD – Charles M, 07/09/2015
I have seen these three movies many times! Each time I watch one, The Holy Spirit shows me something new! As human beings, created by The Lord, "in His Image and Likeness", He never ceases to amaze me with The Wisdom of His Word! This is one great way parents can get The Word of God into their children's hearts! Proverbs 22:6 train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it!
Praise to Our King of kings, and Lord of lords.

Seeing and hearing the Bible will deepen your personal relationship with Jesus has His powerful word.
Visual Bible: The Complete Set - DVD – Tammy P, 06/01/2012
A pastor friend lent us these dvd's to watch. This set is a great learning tool, we have read these chapters in the bible and to have a video history really makes your understanding grow. We love that they go verse by verse in the bible. Now we wanted a set of our own so we can watch them anytime we wish.
Visual Bible Series: Matthew - DVD – Daniel E, 07/30/2011
Great movie to watch.
Visual Bible Series: Matthew - DVD – Adrianne R, 08/05/2010
After watching this Visual Bible series, I felt it was okay. I was grateful that this Visual Bible series used the NIV Bible, but I didn't particularly care for the actor that portrayed "Jesus" in this one - but the other actors/actresses were pretty good. In all, I guess it's okay viewing, but I have to just overlook the actor who portrayed "Jesus". Overall, I like having Visual Bible because it does make it very interesting to actually kind of "see" everything acted out (as much as possible). I would love it if they could make one on the book of Mark & Luke.
Visual Bible Series: Matthew - DVD – Naomi H, 05/24/2010
I ordered this nearly 2 years ago, and have viewed this DVD many times. It is such a wonderful portrayal of Jesus and Matthew as it is acted out. I am ordering this version now for my grandson "Matthew" who has been called into the Ministry. What better gift could I give him?
This is a must see for everyone. Jesus is so believeable, so much feeling seen on His face. The acting
is so real. It's top notch in my DVD Library.
Visual Bible Series: Matthew - DVD – Carol B, 01/10/2010

We have our group study and incorperate the movie as a treat night to see how it lines upwith the bible and what we are learning. It's amazing what you learnI think every one should learn more about the GOSPELS. ITis a must seewoth every penny . i personally loved it i will watch it over and over again each you watch it you learn more and more as you grow in the word
Visual Bible Series: Matthew - DVD – Crystal R, 01/09/2010
Absolutely the best movie! It's NOT boring! Even my kids were glued the whole time. I love the acting and not one word is outside of scripture in the movie. Really brings the gospel of Matthew alive!
Visual Bible Series: Matthew - DVD – Randal B, 01/07/2010
I have not watched the entire dvd yet, that being said I find this production a little lacking. The actors playing the parts of John the Baptist and Jesus are a little out of range for me. My favorites to date are Jesus of Nazareth and the Gospel of John as both portrait the Life of The Lord Jesus Christ Who Is The Lord of Glory in a more indepth, less superficial and plastic manner. Also I am not a fan of the translation on which it is based. I do however pray that the Lord use it to bring many to salvation which is what it is all about is it not?

You can see the word of God become a living word. Ooooh, so many Christian are very behind not reading their Bible through seen and listening. " Enjoy the word. Jun 29, 2011
A shopper asked: does this movie cover creation? Jun 17, 2015
Frank F: After a very brief intro, this video is word-for-word, the book of Matthew. Where the dialogue is direct quotations, the characters speak the lines. For most of the video, there is a voice-over reading the scripture in narration. It is an amazing sort of words-into-scenery-and-human-interaction "translation". I would highly recommend it. It gives the impression that you are watching the actual events unfold before your very eyes. The actor portraying Jesus is excellent. There is a brief shot of him as the movie ends where he is walking along the sea shore. He looks back, smiles broadly, and beckons with his hand for the viewer to follow. It personalizes those 16 times in the Gospels when He said -
"Follow Me" Jun 18, 2015
Frank B: I love the Matthew DVD. In fact I bought 10 of them because it is a great tool for some new Believer who isn't into the Bible. The script is faithful verbatim to the book of Matthew so it does not cover creation. The Jesus Film does briefly. Jun 17, 2015
Maureen F: I viewed this so long ago so what I'm remembering is at the beginning, the actor portraying 'Matthew' is reading all the generational names out loud as written in the gospel, but not actually talking about Creation. Jun 17, 2015
Susan A: This is literally the book of Matthew, and it starts with the first chapter of the book, not creation. Jul 5, 2015
Inez S: No, it covers the birth of Christ to The great commission after His
resurrection. Jun 17, 2015
Deborah R: No,but I watch it over and over. I believe it gives the best view of Jesus' heart. Jun 21, 2015
