We should never be ashamed of what God has given us. I think this movie will show that. Jan 10, 2012 Joyce S: It's both! It really is a good movie, we need to see more movies that can give us hope. A lot of times special needs children are over looked, but in this movie the young man is able to live and learn in the real world. Feb 13, 2012 Reply to Joyce Good answer? The coach in the movie has lost his faith in God, but by the end of the movie, through an autistic, godly young man, he regains his faith. I was touched by the godliness and purity of the main character with autism. So, yes, though this was definitely a "feel good" movie for me, it also touched my spirit. Feb 14, 2012 Reply to Rosalind Good answer? Yes (0) No (1) Karen S: There was one sware word where the coach is upset of a situation and he says BS. I asked my children at the end if this movie had any sware words in it and they couldnt remember they didn't think so, think the story line keep them interested. One of those feel good movies. BC Jan 26, 2012 Reply to Bob Good answer? Yes (0) No (0) Hugh A: No, it did not. I enjoyed the movie, although my husband did not because of the autistic boy. However, I think it shows how he did good despite his autism. Jan 28, 2012 Reply to Hugh Good answer? Yes (0) No (0) Reply to Ida Good answer? Yes (0) No (0) Reply to PERICLES TAVARES Good answer? Thanks Jan 16, 2012 Hugh A: I don't know if my other comments came through so I will try again. The movie did not have much Bible teaching but the coach did show compassion for the autistic boy. The movie did show a Bible and the autistic boy prayed a prayer. The autistic boy did get beat up so you might not want your kids to see that. Other than that, it was a clean movie. I enjoyed it because it showed how someone with a disability can triumph in it. Feb 18, 2012 Reply to Hugh Good answer? It also shows that once you make a big mistake and the moment you realize it, it's never too late to make a wrong write. It shows how to forgive your enemies and win....This was a wonderful movie. There is one swear word in it. In the locker room. My children didn't pick it up but I did. Feb 21, 2012 Reply to Karen Good answer? I felt like the moral and ethical points were very well handled and would recommend it to those who focus on promoting Biblical principles. This would definitely promote the character qualities of God caring for all of His children. I also showed the consequences of being jealous and doing harm to a person. Feb 20, 2012 Reply to Margaret Good answer? Yes (0) No (0) Karen S: This movie taught 3 things to my children. Its never too late to make a wrong right. Forgive your enemies that are right in front of your face. All human beings are important to God so we need to treat them as such. No matter your handicap you can contribute in life...... We loved this movie. There was one sware word in it while in the locker room. My children didn't notice but I did. Feb 21, 2012 Reply to Karen Good answer? Yes (0) No (0) |
