Courageous - The Movie - Blu-ray/DVD Combo – Karen M, 01/30/2012 ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. On this past weekend, I did "Kendrick Brothers" marathon and I watched all four movies in order. I am so sorry I did not have the opportunity to watch in the theatre. I am truly at a loss for words to express how great the movie is. I especially, liked the part where the character "Nathan" took his daughter to dinner and gave her the diamond ring to one day be replaced with her wedding ring. That was truly an example for the fathers who have daughters. That scene touched me so much. The Lord was truly glorified in this movie and the ending was really truly great. If anyone has not seen any of Alex and Stephen productions you are missing a treat. The Lord has truly blessed these men and all who appeared in the film. I suggest buying or renting and watching as a family. Unfortunately, I did not have the luxury but it was great none the less. This movie is true keeper.
Courageous - The Movie - Blu-ray/DVD Combo – Gian L, 11/19/2011 Great Inspiring movie! To God be all the Glory! I had watched it first at Hoyts Blacktown Australia when it was showed the first day and i was touch and moved by the message and cried many times..I do loved the movie and made me decide to bring my whole family including my brothers and sisters, my dad and mom, my auntie and my grandmother.
We're all about 10 and everyone of us was crying and made us realize with everything about our family especially my dad to us. I Thank God and the people who created this movie and made it possible. Godbless us all! Can't wait for the dvd to release and watch it again on our home.

Remember that we are pre-ordering this film--it is not to be released until Jan. 17--so after that is when we start to get anxious for delivery. Thanks, Jared for your answer, I went ahead and went out on a limb and pre-purchased it anyway--so I am on the waiting list until Jan. 17, but ahead of all the rest who haven't ordered theirs yet! I did so because the Blu-ray players have really come down in price, but am glad that a regular DVD is included.

The resolution was released to accentuate the commitment of those who were so touched by the message in the movie, that they could make and reflect on the changes they wanted to make in their own familys, also serves as a reminder to the promise they made to themselves, the familys and to God. The Storyline being fictional or whatnot, feelings and emotions brought to the surface never are. I am one of these people who have done just what was stated earlier and put the resolution in to practice in my home and only wished it had come out many years earlier. If you are disturbed that this may be a so called "Marketing Gimick" then so be it , but to those who feel called to use it , then it is a Tool to used by God to bring familys closer to God and His Glory. Thanks, Rick. I agree 100% with the seriousness of the 'father issues' and have been for MANY years but I think in a lot of cases turning to the Lord and to our families has a much bigger price with it than a prayer, plaque or ceremony :) I guess one of my concerns is the idealism that leads to disillusionment 'cause not all stories have a happy ever after ending:) So good that you want to do whatever you have to do to be there for your family. Sometimes the stakes are very high but so well worth it. We had to leave all (especially career) to rescue someone and its taking years (though it doesn't always have to) but every response, no matter how small, has been well worth it. As far as human accountability is concerned there wasn't anyone who could possibly have seen us through the nightmares and our experience literally was that there wasn't anyone who seemed to care enough to want to. No human effort led us through the "night" but our Heavenly Father who went the whole 9 yards to rescue His first 2 culprits was and will be there if we don't faint by the wayside and even then He picks us up to keep going for He is far more concerned than we could ever be.
