(View all 43 reviews) Sad but wonderful movie. Great life lesson. (no written review given) (no written review given) Great family movie. (no written review given) Liked the movie - good acting and story -- BUT I was disappointed that nothing was said about what happened to the other guys in the accident. It just seemed incomplete. (no written review given) (no written review given) We were disappointed in this movie overall. It had a dramatic, heart-wrenching storyline and it appeared the family was a God-believing family;however, it was so disappointing to hear God's name taken in vain several times throughout the movie. In addition, it wasn't an uplifting , encouraging movie because it didn't show the hope we have as believers in Christ. It talked about the son being in Heaven, but it seemed like the family members left behind tried worldly methods alone to work through their grief, and didn't show them as individuals or as a family going to scripture or praying for God's help, comfort, and guidance. In the end, I didn't even know if the mother or father really worked through the grief? It seemed like football rather than God was the cement that held them together. I couldn't tell whether the story's goal was to promote organ donation or to talk about the history of Wake Forest football during this tragic time. Unfortunately, it didn't give God the glory for helping His people in time of need. I wouldn't recommend this movie, but would HIGHLY recommend "COURAGEOUS" for those who want to see a movie that is God-honoring and shows people working through grief with God's help. It was an okay film. It was good at the beginning and then just got boring. They did use God's name in vain several times. The 5th Quarter - DVD Already Asked: 2 Questions, 16 Answers

We would like to show this movie at our church for movie night; but only if the language is cleaned up. Thanks. Sep 7, 2011 Joy D: The word "crap" is heard about 3 to 4 times throughout the movie. Other than that, no inappropriate language. There is a scene where boyfriend and girlfriend exchange a lip smacking kiss...longer than I would've liked to see with my 11 year old watching.
