Patrick Whalen, 11/18/2008This was an interesting perspective yet there just seemed to be something lacking that tied it all together. I can't comment more specifically lest I give away the movie.

Matthew Cart, 03/23/2008I think that this movie had a pretty good story behind it but it was not well made. If this movie were better put together it would have been great and, as the other reviewer said "A must see".
But it was not a must see because it was not put together well. When I say the story was good, I mean that there was a good idea behind the movie. The introduction of characters, acting, and other essentials that are not normally recognized were fair at best, and sometimes poor in this movie.
I also thought it was unrealistic that someone would be trying to find a mathematical equation to figure out God. They could have taken the same kind of idea and used something more realistic, like a person who is trying to have absolute proof that God exists; which for this there is all kinds of evidence but perhaps there are people out there that will not believe because they want absolute proof.
I think a golden opportunity was missed in this movie because the story cannot be applied to any real life person, who would fall under conviction after watching it.

JANE STRICKLAND, 02/18/2008This movie was great! I saw it on TBN and I hadn't heard anything about it before I watched. This is a must see movie.

Matthew Markovich, 02/03/2008I concur with the other reviews about the movie. The reason I am giving only 4 stars is:
MISSED OPPORTUNITY!
The DVD cries outfor extras. How about a special editon with an interview with VICTOR LUNDIN (the reason I wanted to buy and watch this).? A clip of Mr. Lundin as the very first KLINGON (STAR TREK ORIGINAL SERIES) would have been a nice intro to an interview! How about an interview with the REASONS TO BELIEVE team Hugh Ross) about Science and Religion relating to the theme of this movie? A brief history of the idea of A THEORY OF EVERYTHING? Christian movies are notorious for lack of content, preaching to the choir, bad acting and poor special effects. Here you have a movie that for the most part avoids these pitfalls, NUF SAID.
MISSED OPPORTUNITY...............
too bad.

Richard Thornton, 12/05/2006I got this movie because I wanted a film to share with others about the "battle" between science and Christianity. When I first started watching the movie it seemed like the actors were just regular people...not "movie" people acting like regular people. The wife in the movie is a real woman, not some dressed up actress who is cleaner/nicer than a real woman in a home. I don't mean this to be negative, it just took some getting used to. This movie is like walking into real people's homes and lives. It's reality TV so to speak but with truly real people being shown on screen who act like people we might meet. After getting used to the realness of the actors, it made the whole movie much more powerful. Real predicaments, real searching for meaning in one's family, workplace, and in relationship with God. Life, love, death, transition...the movie has it all...and does it well. A wonderful movie for me to be touched by...and to pass on. I already have.

Jere Davis, 11/27/2006I first saw this movie in a theater screening and now own the DVD. I also had the chance to meet David De Vos and I found him to be friendly and sincere. The story is thoughtful and intelligent. This film helps lead the way to higher standards of production in Christian cinema which is greatly needed. I highly recommend this movie. It has human drama, an interesting story line, and a Christian message in a quality production.

Jill Cain, 11/02/2006This is "A Beautiful Mind" mets "Good Will Hunting"! It was profound and touches people at a very deep, universal level as a human being. Anyone (Christian or non-Christian) would find this movie both insightful and inspiring! I highly recommend it! It should be in our movie theaters right now! There is certainly a market out there for movies with family values! Two thumbs way up! I loved it!
