Kathy Collins, 11/23/2009Very good coverage of the satanic side of Halloween. I felt it was a too scary for young children to watch because it lists many of the satanic rites and procedures. Covered a lot of material in a short time and showed actual people that were or had been involved in these cult activities.

Stephanie Farley, 11/09/2009This was very informative. This is a must see for any Christian seeking to do what is right for themselves and their families when it comes to whether we should participate in the celebration of Halloween.

Matthew Carr, 02/16/2009While this documentary does share pertinent information on connections to ancient witchcraft and sorcery with modern occult practice, and the influence of such practice on entertainment media (specifically film), this film is simply too dated to contain much relevance, other than its very basic ideas. Although it was undoubtedly made with good intentions, it rarely quotes God's Word on very important spiritual matters such as following other gods, occult practices, etc.
This is not meant as a criticism of the documentary filmmakers...they undoubtedly held Christilike intentions. Also, while England the surrounding isles are an important influence upon the practice of witchcraft, very little if any attention was giving to this growing phenomenon in North America, especially the United States. By some accounts, "Wicca" or "witchcraft" is growing at a rate faster than any other religion, save perhaps for the Assemblies of God in Christian groups.
In conclusion, this documentary brings up some very important points for concerned Christians around the world. However, its execution and direction are dated at best, and perhaps lack cultural significance nowadays, in the light of so many technological and cultural changes.

Mercedes Gilligan, 12/02/2008This is a good documentary to show those who celebrate Halloween and think nothin of it or even those who have no idea what Halloween is all about but still celebrate each year. The DVD is pretty old and cheesy but the message is still out there.

Janet Barry, 10/27/2008This film was awesome, it's a learning experience. Our son was going to help set up with some parties until he watched this film, now he wants nothing to do with it. It opened his eyes as well as ours. Our son is 15 and he loves the Lord very much. Everybody was telling him that there's nothing wrong with it but this film got through to him.

matt clyne, 10/16/2008This movie will make you think twice about celebrating Halloween. The movie itself is a little dated (the graphics are hysterical) but the truth always stands the test of time. The disscusion is very graphic so do not watch with little ones around. All in all very informative.

Janice Strauss, 05/22/2007This movie leaves no doubt about participating. I was beginning to see some of the positive in Trick or Treat such as the willingness for so many to give to strangers, neighbors getting together, and the kids having fun but knowing what else goes on this night is something every Christian should see. There are many, many scary images and testimonies in this which a child would be scared by.
