ChristianCinema.com Store asked: Why did you choose this? Donna R: It looked good but was predictable. May 18, 2011 A shopper asked: Is it REALLY Christian themed?? God is #1 Aug 23, 2011 Angela B: I purchased this movie because I was a friend of her family, part of the prayer team at her church and sang on the worship team that her step dad played drums for. She was an amazing lover of God and she really did give it all to Him. Her funeral was absolutely beautiful and I had the privilege of singing on the worship team at it. Having been there through her Africa trip to her deathbed, the movie is a far cry from how it was and very one dementional. Not very well acted or produced, but it is Christian themed and she really did lay it all down for the glory of Jesus. Aug 26, 2011 Reply to Angela Good answer? Hope this makes sense btw its in 'christian studies' May 15, 2012 Ingrid H: God allows us to go through many trials, cancer is one of them. Doctors supposedly do not know what causes cancer either. For whatever reason that it exists and many other life threatening illnesses we can be sure that God is never far away from us even when we may feel He is. Many believe cancer has a lot to do with the foods we eat, the chemicals we ingest through tablets, drinks, foods and smoking. The character in the movie believed God would take the cancer away, but God is not our puppet, he allows things to take their course and at times he allows healing. When we pray the Our Father, we pray "thy will be done", I guess I have always tried to make that my mantra (for want of a better word) in my life, whatever trials I am faced with. Hope this helps.
