One Nation Under God - DVD –
Anna T, 07/08/2012EXPECTED TOO MUCH. It was an excellent idea, but there wasn't the right preparation of questiion(s), nor good biblical response(s). It just came off as college boys on a vacation trip and hamming it up; a good deal less of these scenes would have lent more credibility to this film and been more tolerable.
The sound mix was poor; decent camera work absent; good editing lacking, music too loud at times as an explanation was given, so if it was of any value, it was drowned out.
I as an older person, I would have appreciated greatly captioning of those individuals being intereviewed.
Maybe at a later time as the boys mature, they might try their hand at this again, with more preparation of questions, and definitely better preparedness of answers to let the lost know what the Bible says.
The random explanatory comments were excellent, and the one on Mormans exceptional.

John P, 06/28/2012Will Bakke has a very creative editing touch and a knack for capturing the fun randomness of college students' lives, while at the same time presenting a meaningful message that is convincing without being brutal. There are many funny scenes in this film, and many open and honest conversations with people who are lost and searching for the true meaning of life. I highly recommend this film for teens on up -- many great discussion starters here about Mormonism, Scientology, reincarnation, what it means that 57% of the Americans who claim to be evangelicals seem to think that Jesus is not the only way to God . . . and many more interesting topics. Every youth and young adult group should see this movie and talk about it with some trusted adults who can help them understand the many perspectives presented here.
