| Endorsed by thousands of teachers, parents, superintendents, and media around the globe, including Former President Ronald Reagan, Reaching The Children’s "A Fighting Chance" show has been delighting hundreds of thousands of school children in grades third through sixth since its inception in 1997. Recently, in light of today’s economy, demand for Joe Manno’s half-serious, half-hilarious "A Fighting Chance" arena-style shows which encourage kids to avoid drugs, violence, gangs, and to respect their teachers, parents, and above all, themselves, has been quite high. Therefore, Reaching The Children will be kicking off the 2010—2013 "A Fighting Chance: One Million Kids-- Live-- In One Thousand Days: tour in Orlando, immediately following Florida’s Comprehensive Assessment Test. About Joe Manno The message that Joe Manno delivers about staying away from gangs, drugs and violence rings to close to home. Growing up in St. Louis, Joe's grandfather was a well-connected mafia boss. He recalls tapped phone lines, foreboding black cars, large family meetings. These were all common occurrences in the Manno household. It was only a matter of time before Joe was expected to take over the "family business." But he had other things in mind. He knew he wanted to take a different path. Joe Manno says his one goal in life is to reach children across the nation and around the globe. |
