 New Christian Movie from Writer of "Space Cowboys" Howard Klauser (writer, Space Cowboys) teamed with David Evans to write the script for a new Christian movie called The Grace Card. Set to go into production on October 12, 2009, the film is being produced by Evans, Kyle Prohaska (Standing Firm, PraisePictures.com) and John Saunders (Into the Wild and Walk the Line). The Grace Card features actor Michael Joiner as Memphis police officer Mac McDonald, a bitter and angry soul who blames his downward spiral an minorities, "the system" and God Himself. When he's assigned an African-American pastor-cop named Sam who was just promoted in front of Mac, it seems things can't get any worse.
But then a routine burglary call goes horribly wrong. Mac hits bottom and faces the loss of everything: his career, his family and any reason to go on. His only lifeline? Grace - offered by the God he's abandoned, through the gift of a man he can barely stand. Will he take it? |
