Hi *|TITLE:FNAME|*,
It's a beautiful day today. The sky is mostly clear, the sun is shining, and it's a brisk 55 degrees. The best part of today is that we left the office and drove up to the mountains for a friend's baptism…in the river!
We climbed down the riverbank, over some rocks, and perched right next to the water. It was freezing, but what a wonderful way to celebrate her commitment to Christ. She told us, "Today I'm dying and I'm coming to life in Jesus."
What I admire about my friend is that she's all in. She doesn't do anything halfway. So she and her pastor donned their wetsuits, got into the frigid water, and went under. Seconds later, she came up a new person.
We could have stayed in the office and kept working, but how much better to get out in God's beautiful creation and rejoice together. It's an amazing privilege to celebrate moments like that with friends, and it's what makes life exciting.
From the screening room,

"You're the line in the sand when I've gone too far," describes perfectly Mark Gungor's theory of marriage and a women's role in it. He believes that the breakdown in marriages is because women quit being the line in the sand for men. It's all about common sense, a concept that's simple but not easy to apply.
You’re part comedian, part marriage counselor, and part pastor. Where and how did Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage begin?
Mark: I’m a pastor first. I pastor a church of about 3000 people in Green Bay, Wisconsin. From there it spilled into talking about marriage and family and just kept spilling. I wouldn’t call myself a counselor, because I don’t think I’m that great of a counselor either. My whole thing is just practical advice. I think marriage problems are ...

In the new film Conflict: The Power of Propaganda (Joe Israel Productions), director Chris Atkins goes behind the headlines and past the media bias against Israel to present a fair and realistic picture of what is actually happening in the Middle East. The fast-paced documentary exposes the rampant propaganda and challenges viewers to recognize the calculated deception and its ties to both extremism and terrorism on a global scale.

Synopsis:
A stranger comes to a town and starts helping people rebuild a church. He helps them any way he can and in ways that they need most. He even heals a blind woman so she may see. Although he attracts many people as friends, a lone Catholic Priest fights to have the Catholic Church denounce this man and all he has done. Who is this man really, and how can he do these miraculous things?
Dove Worldview:
I read Joshua, the first book of the multi-million-selling novel series, just prior to seeing this film. This movie is somewhat difficult to review, since I don’t want to spoil the story line before you have the chance to enjoy this enchanting film under the direction of Jon Purdy. The all-star cast of Tony Goldman, F. Murray Abraham, Kurt Fuller, Stacy Edwards and Giancarlo Giannini do an outstanding job interpreting the characters penned by priest-turned-novelist, Fr. Joseph F. Girzone.
Sex: Maggie is having car trouble and Joshua walks up introducing himself. Just after he says “You never know what will make you want to stick around,” her skin-tight top suddenly reveals impressions of her chest. It’s not cold weather? Maggie is shown in the same way again later in the film.
Language: Suck-2, as in, "I am bad at something."

Based on the best-selling novel by Joseph Girzone that touched the lives of millions, Joshua is an inspirational story about a stranger whose mysterious "supernatural" powers inspire a small town.
When Joshua moves to the outskirts of Auburn, he awakens the curiosity of the sleepy town. The locals aren't quite sure what to make of him. They don't know who he is or where he came from, but no one can shake the feeling that they've known him for years. Know n only by his first name, his wisdom and compassion place him at the center of the town's attention.
This attention intensifies as Joshua shatters prejudice and misconception, and even seems to perform miracles. Despite his benevolence and selfless work in the community, some remain suspicious. There are those who fear that no one in today's world would do something for nothing. Just what exactly is Joshua up to? In the end, it is the answer to that question which is nearly extraordinary as the discovery of that same transforming power in each of their own hearts.

The Da Vinci Code Deception - DVD
by Marisol Sosa
"DECODING : THE DA VINCI CODE The Da Vinci Code is indeed a novel,in that it is fictitious literature of events that are NOT actual, such as: FICTION: The marriage of Jesus and Mary Magdalene.(Chapter 58, page 244). FACT: The Holy Bible says that there will be those who "...spread error concerning the Lord...." (Isaiah 32:6). FICTION: Mary Magdalene..." The prostitute?"(Chapter 58, Pages. 243-244). FACT: The Holy Bible does not indicate that Mary Magdalene was ever a prostitute. The Holy Bible reveals that she was demon possessed, in that the Gospel of Luke describes her as a woman "from whom seven demons had gone out." (Luke 8:1-3). FICTION: Dan Brown further writes: "...almost everything our fathers taught us about Christ is false." (Chapter 55, Page 235). FACT: The Holy Bible warns us that there will be those "...exchanging the truth of God for a lie,...."(Romans 1:25). "

Life's Story: The One That Hasn't Been Told - DVD
by Cm Mc
"This is the most fabulous masterpiece of comedy ever created. It's amazing how every single tennet of the theory of evolution could be misrepresented in such a hilarious way. My personal favourite is the following: “The question evolutionists need to answer is; how did some common ancestor evolve into such a variety of creatures? And why are there no fossils to suggest that these changes have taken place?” This is like asking why there is no such thing as a bible. Some would argue that it should be morally reprehensible to air this on television, due to the number of misrepresentations. I say it is important for children of faith to hear and believe lies, so that they can never make up their own minds based on reason and evidence. I also find it very amusing that DNA is evidence for evolution, not against it, but that after viewing this documentary, my children are none the wiser.. stupid kids. Hilarious. Five stars. "
