This is a terrific documentary. It shows beautiful scenes of Jerusalem, the city and the greenery and beauty of the Jordan River. It takes the viewer to historical spots such as Golgotha, the place where Christ was crucified, as well as Bethlehem, the place he was born. The cinematography is stunning. Benedict Cumberbatch does a wonderful narration.
The history of Jerusalem is shared too as well as comments by an archaeologist and one person each representing the three religions which stem from this region, the Jewish faith, Christian faith, and Islam, the Muslim faith. As one lady puts it, all three share a love for the land.
We are more than happy to award our Dove Seal to "Jerusalem" for all ages. This one just might take your breath away, but in a good way.
Violence: Comments about the crucifixion of Christ.
