In the year 2030, America has become a twisted version of freedom. Truth is silenced, and those with bold faith are now terrorists - terrorists who must be hunted down and destroyed. With the help of his friend Aaron, a Navy SEAL with expert computer skills, Zach devises a plan to breach the government's lockdown on rogue webcasts. But his proclamation of faith comes with a heavy price. Now, imprisoned by the ruthless government official, Jack Johansen, Zach must fight for his life, his friends, and his precious wife and children. But even with death pounding at his door, Zach must complete his mission - a mission from which, he may never return. The Freedom of Silence is a riveting story, one which will churn the fires for freedom in us all!
This movie shows exactly what might happen in the future of our country! The year is 2030 and America is now an anti-Christian nation due to the government which prevents Christians from the freedom of speech and the ability to worship God as they see fit. The Christians have been hit with "hate crimes" for speaking up about their beliefs. A zealous leader for the Christians, Zach Thompson, is arrested and beaten and tortured for his faith while sending away his wife and daughters to China to live with her parents so they might continue to worship God without fear of persecution or even death.
This film is well directed and features solid acting but it does hit a level three in the violence content. One man is repeatedly beat and blood nearly covers his face after a while. However, we are recommending it for our Faith Based Seal which means it contains some strong content (violence) but a strong faith message. It also contains a strong redemptive theme.
Sex: Husband and wife kiss.
Language: H-1; Damnable-1
Violence: A man is beaten for his faith with punches and with a stick and he is bloody and bruised; man punched and kicked; a woman is hit; a man's hair is pulled; man is dunked in water and held for a long time as part of torture.
Drugs: A few smoking scenes; a man is given a shot of some kind of drug as he is being interrogated; people at a bar watch a piped-in Bible message.
Nudity: Shirtless man.
Other: A man tosses the Bible while referring to it being illegal; Christians are called fanatics; a bitter agent blames God for an accident which took the lives of his wife and son.
