Synopsis:
"For Pete's Sake" is the heartfelt and inspiring story of a man (Robert Sampson) struggling to come to terms with his wife's (Pippa Scott) untimely death, while raising their young son (Johnny Jenson). Sam Groom portrays the family's pastor and Terri Garr debuts as a wayward young woman in this entertaining and thought-provoking comedy-drama. Special appearance by Billy Graham as himself.
Dove Worldview: This movie shows how a person can come to terms with God and how a relationship can develop. Pete loses his wife unexpectedly and he mourns and deals with his loss and anger with God. He must help his young son and his mother to deal with the loss. Thanks to a Billy Graham crusade God gets ahold of the family and their lives are dramatically changed and Pete and his son become powerful soul winners.
