Synopsis:
When a fiercely competitive rower fails to make the Olympic team for the second time, she reluctantly takes a high school coaching job. However, adjusting to life off the race course is not easy, when someone else is living your dream.
Dove Worldview: "Backwards" takes you into the life of one young woman's dream of being an Olympic rower, something she has worked for for many years. But when her dream does not turn out the way she wants she has to find another way of life, one that she is unfamiliar with.
In a sport where one rows backwards to win the race, this film show that sometimes you have to go back in life to find what you really want. It is a story of dreams and how sometimes what a person thought they wanted is not always the way it should be.
