The Solomon Bunch is the story of 5 kids who set out to learn as much as they can as children in order to avoid making mistakes as adults. They turn to the writings of Solomon, the wisest man who every lived, in order to learn everything they need to know. The subsequent journey is a bumpy ride filled with mistakes and adventure. The friends ultimately discover many valuable life lessons including the harm that comes from judging others and the importance of always doing your best.
This movie entertainingly shows that one should not jump to conclusions. The kids in this movie want to be wise so they read the scriptures and writings of Solomon. This "Solomon Bunch" do not understand what they're reading and they get sidetracked for a time. They believe an actor who is acting is a murderer and they soon learn that jumping to conclusions can lead to shame. They learn that "listening carefully" is a skill and is a trait of wisdom.
With themes of wisdom and being slow to act, this wonderful DVD shows how the Bunch make it up to the man they judged. In an inspirational scene a child teaches about Jesus and Solomon. We gladly award this DVD our Dove Seal for all ages.
