Synopsis: Bert's estranged daughter has told his granddaughter, Becca, some pretty bad stories about him. But when her mom is in a car crash and she's forced to move in with Bert, neither of them are sure what to make of the other. It looks like it may be an icy holiday season, but the pair begins to bond as Bert, a former stage and screen performer, helps Becca prepare for her school's holiday pageant, creating their own Christmas miracle.
Dove Worldview: This film is a truly delightful Christmas story that reunites a man with his daughter and granddaughter. They learn that sometimes things are not the way you have been told, which may have caused one to jump to wrong opinions. Becca has to sort out the truth about her grandfather Bert for herself.
The characters in this movie are charming and entertaining. This is a great film for the entire family and we award it our Dove Seal.
