Synopsis:
When the beloved wife and daughter of Bruce Murakami (Dean Cain) are killed in a November, 1998 car crash, he begins a desperate search-with help from lawyer Erin Teller (Peri Gilpin)-to find out exactly what happened.

They eventually discover that Cindy (Bruce's wife) and Chelsea (daughter) were the innocent victims of a street racing incident, and campaign to bring the at-fault driver, 17-year old Justin Gutierrez (Shiloh Fernandez), to justice. But when the case is finally heard in court, Bruce Murakami's powerful desire for revenge is suddently replaced by an equally powerful desire to transform his tragic loss into something positive.

Dove Worldview:
This is a compelling drama. Bruce Murakami (Dean Cain) deals with the sudden death of his wife and daughter in an automobile accident. The event has a ripple effect as it affects not only Murakami's two sons, but the boy who is discovered to have been involved. Young Justin Gutierrez (Shiloh Fernandez) does a good job portraying the grief and guilt-ridden young man, whose mistake in racing was the stimulus which caused the accident.

This movie deals effectively with the issue of death and the determination of Bruce Murakami to forgive the young man who was responsible for his wife and daughter's death. The film is pretty clean, with no language in it, and we recommend it for ages twelve and above, due to the mature subject matter. It is a good story and therefore we award five doves to the film.
